MUSIC MINISTRY
Dust
off those handbell gloves and start warming up those voices. Bells and
Choir will begin THIS THURSDAY!! Bells begin at 6:15 in the choir loft
and choir begins at 7:15 in the choir loft. No prior musical knowledge
is necessary to be part of either of these groups just an enthusiastic
spirit and a willingness to have fun while making music for the Lord. If

Attention ladies: Our women’s choir (Laudate) is getting ready to begin.
We will have our first practice next Sunday, September 5th, in the
school music room following Bible Class. Women’s choir is for any lady
in high school or older who would like to sing. This choir sings about
once every other month. They practice twice a month for about 45
minutes. If you have any questions, please contact Jeff Armstrong.
Saturday, September 4th

in the Bible Class Room
Come on out for a night of BINGO,  on September 4th in
the Bible Class room. While you play, enjoy
special
coffees, drinks, and popcorn. Bring a white elephant gift to be given away as the prizes. This
is a great way for your whole family to come out and get to know your
church
family more.
VOLLEYBALL! 
Co-ed Volleyball begins Sunday, September 12, at 6:00 PM, in the gym. We will be forming teams for anyone in 9th grade and older. Contact Dean Mushinski if you have any questions, 281-236-7043 or fortresspest@aol.com.
THE CHEERFUL HELPERS invite all ladies to attend our meeting on September 18th, at 11:00am, in Pastor White’s Bible study room. We will discuss Turkey Supper and two positions up for election. If anyone is interested in running for secretary or treasurer please contact one of the Nominating Committee members (Gladys Kunkel, Cheryl Fristche, Martha Glammayer or Margie Green). It will be a picnic theme, and a contest for the best adorned hat/visor that shows up. So get those creative juices flowing and see you there!
LWML JOY DAY is Saturday, September 25th, at 9:00 am, in the Bible Class Room. Everyone is welcome to help us put together kits for Lutheran World Relief.
New Adult Instruction Classes 
If you know of anyone interested in Lutheran doctrine or becoming a member of Our Savior Lutheran Church, tell them Pastor White will be starting a new class on Thursday, September 23, at 7:00pm, in the Bible Class Room. Babysitting will be provided in the Youth Room.
