Altar Guild - This group of dedicated people are responsible for preparing communion and decorating the church for festival seasons. They sponsor the annual Mother-Daughter Banquet on the the first Saturday in March, of which the proceeds are used to purchase altar furnishings for the church. Bon Appetit - Teaching and learning cooking techniques is what this group is all about. A menu is planned and the group goes over the ingredients, then cooks the meal as a group and then ... bon appetit! Group size is limited since they meet in a home the first Saturday of each month. Cart Patrol - Every Sunday morning members of the Cart Patrol ferry church-goers to and from their cars, church, and Sunday school through blistering heat, soaking rain, and the bitter cold. They are the few, the proud, the Cart Patrol. For more information contact Andy Adams at aadams@adamsins.com
Evangelism - The mission of the Evangelism Committee is to tell others about our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. They consist of 35 members, divided into 7 teams. Each team calls on our first-time visitors every 7th week. They make their calls on Mondays from 6:15 - 8:00 pm. The whole Evangelism Committee meets on the 2nd Tuesday of the month from 7:00 - 8:30 p.m. in the Bible Class Room. On the last Sunday of each month, they visit new neighbors in the surrounding area, from 2:00 - 5:00 pm. Gabriel Project - This is an outreach program to indigent pregnant women in which OSL participates. Each mother who has contacted us through the parent program has been assigned a "Volunteer Angel" from our congregation. These angels give of their time to pray for their mother and contact her regularly to meet her needs. The congregation supplies short-term help in such forms as rent, food, maternity needs and baby items from the woman's 7th month of pregnancy until the baby is about 2 months old. Gatehouse Volunteers - This team works the entrance gatehouse giving directions to visitors and information as needed. No group meetings. Training as needed. For more information contact the Mike Henke at smhenke@oslschool.org.

Guiding Shepherds - This group of members of Our Savior welcomes and encourages new members to become active in the life of our church. They meet as needed. For more information contact Ken Wright at kwright@swautochlor.com.
LWML Cheerful Helpers - This group works with the congregation, provides for social gathers of the circles, and helps carry out the objectives of District and the International Lutheran Women's Missionary League (LWML). They organize the preparation of meals for the families of funerals, and sponsor the annual Turkey Supper & Craft Bazaar. LWML Dorcas Circle - "Until all the troops come home, our flame will not go out," is the motto of Dorcas' latest project, the support of our service men and women, including the eight servicemen of our congregation. They also sell high quality greeting cards with scripture verses for various prices, which cards are on display in the Bible classroom. Another facet of their ministry is marking the 70th year milestone of ladies in the congregation with a birthday card. Dorcas, which is a member of Cheerful Helpers, meets the 4th Tuesday of each month in the East Meeting Room. LWML Joseph's Guild of Colors - If you are interested in working with your hands on craft projects for missions then this is the group for you. They meet on the 2nd Friday of the month from 9:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. in the East Meeting Room, with a potluck lunch in the Bible Class Room. LWML Night Circle - This branch of the Cheerful Helpers meets the 1st Tuesday of each month at 7:00 p.m. in a member's home. They have Bible study, support missions, help needy families in our congregation and others that have suffered hardships by remembering them in our prayers and offering them financial aid whenever needed. LWML Potter's Vessel - This is a women's Bible study with fellowship who work on mission projects as well as being part of the LWML at large. They choose their own smaller projects for individuals or groups as they become aware of those who have a need. Meetings are flexible for the group's needs at 7:00 p.m. in the Bible Class Room. LWML Sewing Circle - This group does sewing and craft work to sell at the Cheerful Helper's Turkey Supper & Craft Bazaar. They meet the 1st Tuesday of the month at 10:00 a.m. in someone's home. For more information contact Corine Froehlich at 281-444-7547.
Men Alive in Christ - This group has Bible studies pertaining to men and their roles in the church and the family. Men Alive meets the 1st Saturday of each month at 7:00 a.m. for breakfast and fellowship in the cafeteria. Bible study from 7:30 - 8:30 a.m. Men Alive also conducts a weekly Bible study with breakfast every Wednesday morning from 6:30 - 7:30 a.m. in the large classroom downstairs in the sanctuary. Once a year they plan a retreat for in-depth soul-searching, usually the last weekend in January. Office Volunteers - Every Friday a rotation of volunteers meets in the church office work room to assemble the Sunday bulletins, and sharpen pencils and place attendance cards in the pew racks. For more information contact Loretta Supercinski at lsupers@osl.cc.
P.E.P. Group (People Enjoying People) - This group of adults ages 55+ takes about ten trips a year to different sites of interest in southeast Texas. Young At Heart - This is a fellowship group for those 55+. They meet the 3rd Friday of each month in the Bible Class Room at 6:00 p.m. for a potluck dinner followed by a brief business meeting and devotion by Pastor Glammeyer.
