VBS 2017 - June 12-15

"Junker Jorg & The Reformation" is an OSL VBS Experience for all ages! Join us for four Summer nights of fun, faith, and family.

500 years ago, this year, God worked through an unknown monk named Martin Luther in a backwater German village to once again proclaim His Gospel of salvation by grace through faith in Jesus Christ. We will explore this important event in the history of the church in a unique and exciting way.

Nightly Schedule:
  • 5:30 PM - Family Meal - Each evening will start with a delicious family meal and fellowship time. Dinner is served until 6:00 PM each night.
  • 5:45 PM - City Square - our version of Wittenberg's city square will come to life as merchants ply their trade and engage the kids in craft building and decoration.
  • 6:15 PM - Junker Jorge & the Reformation - Our favorite pooches will time travel 500 years and meet an obscure and unknown knight that goes by the name "Junker Jorge."
  • 6:30 PM to 8:30 PM - VBS Program - Kids preschool age to Grade 5 (completed) participate in our VBS programs. They meet famous figures from the Reformation, music, play games, and help produce a one of a kind music video! Kids and teens (Grade 6 and through high school) will participate as group leaders. Pastor White will lead a study on the three "solas" of the Reformation and why it was so critical for all Christians. Child care is provided for infants and toddlers (not yet potty trained)
  • THURSDAY NIGHT FINALE - Don't miss our special FINALE on Thursday as we wrap up our VBS. We will premiere the VBS music video and finish things off with a game of family dodge ball and an ice cream social. The FINALE is not to be missed!
