Where Is our Kingdom?
The one who conquers, I will grant him to sit with Me on My throne.

Where Is our Kingdom?
According to faith we are foreigners; that is, our kingdom is according to faith. I am a king in eternal life; I am a prince and am mighty over devil, death, [and] sin. Secular authority is under the devil, death, [and] sin. . .. [But] there [in eternal life] I am a squire. Therefore, my kingdom is indeed a glorious dominion compared to the one on earth, which is only a place to lie down for a night as an alien. But when it is time, we must leave the inn. . . Christians travel on to blessedness; here they are aliens. Thus through God's Son you are a lord over sin [and] death. The [emperor is only a lord] over money. Even if I die, [what difference does it make]? I am lying down in the inn. . .. They all pass away, leave the world here and depart. Therefore, since that is the case even with the lords, remember this so that you do not become angry, because [you are] kings and priests.
