Excellent Wisdom
13 Then Daniel was brought in before the king. The king answered and said to Daniel, “You are that Daniel, one of the exiles of Judah, whom the king my father brought from Judah. 14 I have heard of you that the spirit of the gods is in you, and that light and understanding and excellent wisdom are found in you. 15 Now the wise men, the enchanters, have been brought in before me to read this writing and make known to me its interpretation, but they could not show the interpretation of the matter. 16 But I have heard that you can give interpretations and solve problems. Now if you can read the writing and make known to me its interpretation, you shall be clothed with purple and have a chain of gold around your neck and shall be the third ruler in the kingdom.”

Excellent Wisdom
Alleluia! Christ is Risen! There is One who is the perfect light and understanding and excellent wisdom. He is not hidden. He is not just some random god. He is Jesus, the Son of the Living God. He has claimed Daniel as his prophet and you as his child. He has come to rescue and make new. He died and now rose again to give life to the world. He makes known the hidden things of the world and conquers kings and principalities and powers. The wise men, the enchanters, and the others are servants of this world’s prince. They die with him. It is only Jesus who gives the answer to every sin and gives life where there is only death. He accomplishes the impossible. For with God the impossible becomes possible and death becomes only a sleep. Jesus has clothed you in his righteousness. You live with him forever. Christ is Risen! In the Name of +Jesus.
