Profound Mystery
This mystery is profound, and I am saying that it refers to Christ and the church. However, let each one of you love his wife as himself, and let the wife see that she respects her husband. Ephesians 5:32–33

Profound Mystery
The Christian life is seen through the lens of Jesus Christ. He is the great Redeemer and Savior. He comes to seek and save the lost. He comes to change eternity for you and me. He also changes the here and now. He changes husbands and wives by his absolution and love. He binds together what would be impossible to be made one without him. Thus we deny ourselves, we submit to the Word of God and the love that he has for us. We rejoice that he has washed us in his blood and that he continues to send his Word into our hearts week after week!
