And when this letter has been read among you, have it also read in the church of the Laodiceans; and see that you also read the letter from Laodicea. And say to Archippus, “See that you fulfill the ministry that you have received in the Lord.”

The Word was not meant to be scanned silently. It was meant to be proclaimed. It was also meant to be preached. The Word is carried by the Holy Spirit for all to know God and the work of Christ Jesus for you. He comes with this Word upon the lips of your pastor and attached to all the things the church does. This Word is proclaimed, preached, sung, memorized, and recited. It is our life and our light. Read it out, Paul says. Listen and be strengthened.
